FFXI Final Fantasy XI Demo
Final Fantasy XI is one of the few MMORPGs which has a Demo for its game. The FFXI Demo is not a playable/interactive demo like how most PC game demos are, but a demonstration of the games graphics and features. The Demo program is called the Vana'diel Bench 2 and it is primarily a benchmark program which can rate your computer on how well it will perform if you play FFXI. In the benchmark program there is a Demo mode which will show you special events from the game, this is where you can experience Final Fantasy XI. Also the benchmark mode of the program will take you through the Yuhtunga Jungle which sports caves, mountains and valleys.
The benchmark mode of the FFXI Demo will give your PC a score depending on how well it performed during the test. The scores and their meaning are as follows:
- Cannot Run - 999: Your computer does not meet the minimum requirements and cannot run Final Fantasy XI.
- 1000 - 1499: Your PC will able to run FFXI but only at the lowest settings.
- 1500 - 1999: You can run FFXI without much problem though you might have to lower your settings to keep frame rates up.
- 2000 - 2499: You can run FFXI very easily but might have problems with the weather effects which can be turned off.
- 2500 - 2999: Your PC exceeds the recommended system requirements and will run fine at a low resolution.
- 3000 - 3999: Your PC can run FFXI quite well in high resolution mode.
- 4000 - 6999: You have a great PC for running FFXI on, do as you wish.
